Current exhibition

The Kunsthaus Zug Schaudepot will open its doors on 25 August 2024 with the exhibition “Dynamics of (dis)order”. Around 40 sculptures, statuary art and installations will be on display in the hall covering over 700 square metres of the historic V-Zug site. The exhibition centres on questions about the dynamic interplay between order and disorder.

Kunsthaus Zug Schaudepot

The Kunsthaus Zug today holds some 10,000 works: it is a top-quality, public art collection of regional, national and international importance. But the art depot on the Dorfstrasse is bursting at the seams, as are the external storage areas. For the next four years, that is going to change. The Kunsthaus Zug Schaudepot is being created on the historic V-Zug site in Zug North. Thanks to the support of Tech Cluster Zug and the Canton and City of Zug, the Kunsthaus will be able to use ca 700m2 in Halle 11 to display sculptures, installations and museum materials under storage conditions. The local neighbourhood is also home to artists’ studios. The spacious, light-filled hall will now become a meeting place for art and culture.

KunstCluster Zug

KunstCluster Zug is an urban solution for more art in the city of Zug. The area of approximately 1600m² is rented by the KunstCluster Zug association and used for art studios, display depot and workspaces as well as various exhibitions and events. The members of the KunstCluster Zug association are the Foundation of the Friends of Kunsthaus Zug, the Atelier63 association, the Film Zug association, the Guthirt neighbourhood association and TechCluster Zug AG. An open rental area of approximately 290m² can be rented for art and culture-related events.
