Behind the scenes - dismantling

When the doors are temporarily closed to visitors, a completely different spectacle begins inside: the dismantling of an exhibition – and with it a lot of logistical and technical challenges for our team.

A special example: "The Large Glass" by Bethan Huws. This work requires not only sensitivity, but also heavy equipment – a crane is simply indispensable for dismantling. What always seems natural to the audience – perfectly installed works of art – is in fact the result of meticulous planning, teamwork and often physically demanding work behind the scenes.

Here are a few exclusive impressions of the dismantling and use of the crane – art moves, even when no one is looking.
