@Kunsthaus Zug

May 23, 2024, 16:00–17:00

A lecture about Marcel Duchamp and Frederick Kiesler, with Prof. Dr Michael Lüthy, Professor of Modern Art History at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design.

In the 1930s and 1940s, Frederick Kiesler and Marcel Duchamp engaged in an intensive dialogue with each other. Where did intellect and aesthetics intersect for these two visionaries of architecture and art? This lecture aims to approach this intersection from the perspective of Duchamp and his conception of art.
