Hidden Landscape with New2Art+ Ensemble
Concert
The New2Art+ Ensemble – with Judith Wegmann (piano), Miguel Angel Garcia Martin (drums) and Matthias Müller (sound art) – presents the world premiere of an extensive composition by the Zurich-based composer Edu Haubensak (*1954). This is complemented by site-specific sound art works developed especially for the Kunsthaus Zug. They respond to the acoustics, architecture and the exhibited artworks, interweaving with the composition to form a multi-layered soundscape. The music moves between composition, improvisation and aleatoric elements. Sound sources distributed throughout the space open up shifting auditory perspectives and give rise to a constantly changing soundscape. The performance, lasting around 120 minutes, invites the audience to move freely through the space, to linger and to experience music and art from different perspectives and in their own individual ways. This event takes place as part of the programme format “Zu Gast im Kunsthaus Zug”.
