Dr. Matthias Haldemann is director of the Kunsthaus Zug and curator specialised in Viennese modernism, contemporary and interdisciplinary art, art in public space. He is engaged in academic work and has published, amongst others, on the line and on humour in art history, on Aboriginal dot painting as well as on Richard Gerstl, Egon Schiele, Wassily Kandinsky, Ilya & Emilia Kabakov, Tadashi Kawamata, Gustav Klimt, Pavel Pepperstein, Péter Nádas, Dieter Roth, James Turrell, Eva Wipf, Fritz Wotruba.
